The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is a leading national education charity, as well as being one of the UK’s most acclaimed exhibition and retail spaces for contemporary craft. Devon Guild offers the community of tradespeople mutual support and networking. It has regular craft exhibitions plus a lively program of related events. Devon Guild currently has over 240 selected members who exhibit and sell on its premises in Devon and are given advice, support, networking, and professional development opportunities.

What happened next?
Tellonline worked closely with the Devon Guild to create and implement new designs across the website, resulting in a much more modern look and feel. For example, more imagery was added to make the site less text-heavy.
The new site was made much more responsive by using a pure framework, and edits were made to create for a much smoother and dynamic UX on any device.
The Makers Directory was further developed and now has the ability to add categories using Kentico Tables. Tellonline also developed a smart search engine which is integrated into the whole database.
Devon Guild was presented with a newly upgraded CMS along with the training and support to be able to manage and edit their own content. They are now enjoying a vastly updated site in terms of functionality, appearance, UX, and responsiveness.

- The average time spent on the site has increased from 53 seconds to 1.04 minutes.
